People sometimes ask who I think I am. So, cutting to the chase, here’s a quick guide that will help you get to know me better without having to go through the rigmarole of actually meeting me.

A few of the things that I like:

  • Basil Brush (the early 1970s Wendy Boston variety - see sidebar)
  • US TV: Picket Fences, The West Wing, The Shield, The Practice, The Good Wife, The Walking Dead
  • Latin America
  • Some activities: chiefly skiing, diving and astanga yoga
  • The films of Lucio Fulci; well a double bill of The Beyond and Zombie in particular

A few things I don’t like:

  • Bad technology: Phone battery life or the terrible speakers on my expensive Philips LCD TV
  • The publisher at Butterworth Heinemann who didn’t reprint my Videojournalism book
  • Random, unexplained and fatal hard drive failures when it’s been “some time” since I last backed up (update: Time Machine has been my saviour)
  • People who write “your” when they mean “you’re” on web forums
  • For that matter, people who use “less” when they mean “fewer”, “there” when they mean “their” or even “they’re” and all the countless millions who never learned how to use the apostrophe correctly with plural’s. Plural’s what, we ask?

buy viagra online . Oral testosterone can reduce ED in some men with low levels of natural testosterone, but it is often ineffective and may cause liver damage. cialis online . Viagra, on the opposite hand, is known to bring effects extraordinarily fast.
